Try botmetric for 14 Days!

As a DevOps engineer, take control on how you manage a deluge of alerts thrusted upon you. Stop investing precious time and effort in identifying, analyzing, and running diagnostic commands to resolve known and recurring alerts. Start your journey towards NoOps.

Let Botmetric Intelligent Incidents, Actions, & Triggers’ machine learning capability do the correlation of your alerts from network, application and infrastructure, group them as incidents and automate remediation for known operational problems in your IT infrastructure. Reduce time spent in resolving alerts significantly.

Botmetric Intelligent Incidents, Actions, & Triggers provides three solutions:

Automates Alert Correlation: Auto correlate application, network, and infrastructure alerts.

Reduces Alert Fatigue: Suppress duplicate alerts. Consolidate multiple alerts into actionable incidents.

Automates Actions on Alerts: Define custom actions. Create rules for actions to be executed on alerts automatically.

Open Incidents

Know the details of the last alert received. Get in-depth detail for each alert received, right from name of the source from where the alert was triggered to metric details when the alert was created. Get a complete list of related alerts categorized as Incidents, which are collated using intelligent correlation algorithm based on monitoring metrics, event timeline, and hosts.
AWS Cloud Ops & Automation

Resolved Incidents

Get a list of all the Incidents marked as resolved, either by the user or by Botmetric (Using machine Intelligence, it can recognize incidents open for more than 48 hours without any new alerts).

Define an Action as a response to an alert or event using a reusable system command, a script, or a program, which is executed on a host running the Botmetric Agent. These Actions run either on-demand or on a Trigger (explained below) based on IF-THIS-THEN-THAT (IFTTT) rules.

Create a Trigger to automate Actions in response to alerts from different monitoring systems.

This IF-THIS-THEN-THAT (IFTTT) job lets machine handle alerts automatically based on single criterion or several criteria. Essentially, to let the machine run/deploy diagnostics or remediation scripts that are created using Actions.

AWS Cloud Ops & Automation

A cloud engineer is exposed to a swarm of alerts today . Botmetric’s  Alert Analytics under Ops & Automation is designed to collate, analyze and manage all the alerts thrown at your cloud infrastructure team and show them the relevant and contextual alerts that needs action or attention.

Alert Analytics solves three major problems

  1. Every ops team faces a deluge of alerts on a daily basis. Some of the alerts are genuine and some are false. Most of the times alerts are a result of improper thresholds and as a result lead to a lot of noise. There is no place where they can go and see the list of all the alerts grouped by hosts/services.
  2. There is no way for the ops team to correlate data on a daily/monthly/weekly basis to find out the usual suspects or the hosts/services which are generating the most alerts. Its mostly a gut feeling on which an ops engineer operates.
  3. There is no way to see a trend in the number of alerts being generated by a host. There could be a gradual increase in the number of alerts for a service over a period of time which is hard to catch if there is no central place where the alerts are being tracked.

Alert Analytics Overview

Botmetric Alert Analytics reduces the alerts’ noise and helps IT Ops engineer to focus more on the problem at hand using alert analytics. It aggregates all the alerts from multiple monitoring systems, and helps visualize alerts across monitoring systems in the form of graphical reports. Essentially, it empowers an engineer with insights that help detect anomalies across the cloud infrastructure.

Quickly discover all the alerts that are bothering you the most. Get reports in the form of bar graphs and line graphs based on various metrics, such as & hosts causing maximum problems. Automatically know the number of alerts occurred due to issues in network, disk usage, CPU usage, memory, and CPU load, for up to 7 days.Generate reports with various filters, like duration, hosts, and metrics. Obtain granular information that further help in root cause analysis.

Explore, create, and manage scheduled AWS cloud jobs with intuitive list views. You can create automated jobs among seven AWS resources. Track them based on successful execution percentage and time required for next execution.

  • Create. Schedule EC2 and RDS backups. Copy backups from a source AWS account or region,to a destination AWS account or region.Automate start and stop of EC2/RDS instances, an more. All with a few simple clicks. Select resources, add job type, key in notification details , and that’s all. If a job doesn’ t get executed as planned, you get an alert.
  • Manage. Control all automated jobs from a single window. Pause, resume, edit, or delete existing ones. Filter scheduled jobs list by region, execution status or job type; monitor them with ease.
