AWS re:Invent Playtime: 5 Fun Things To Do

It’s time to get your feet off the ground and fly into the clouds. Botmetric cordially invites all cloud technology enthusiasts to come and indulge your senses in the cloud of computing at AWS re:Invent 2017. Talking about senses, Botmetric has a special treat for you at re:Invent this year. Here’s a clue: What’s cool, refreshing and sweet? Well, you will have to see for yourself to find out!

The tradition continues, as this year’s re:Invent takes place in the sensational Las Vegas. Get ready to get knocked off your feet with some Cloud Magic. Experience thrill like the Amazonian soul that you are, during Amazon Web Services re:Invent 2017.

So what’s in store this year? It’s definitely bigger and better. Even with all the technology, business and networking sessions, we really can’t take the fun away while in Vegas. Can we?

So here are 5 fun things to do at re:Invent this year:

1. Harley Ride – The genie to your riding wishes

Kickstart your re:Invent journey with a little vroom vroom. Be the daredevil you always knew you were. Make all your motorcycling dreams come true, as you ride along with your fellow attendees. And if motorcycling isn’t your thing, chose to exercise your slingshot riding skills! Ride your hot wheels and check off one more thing from your bucket list. Register as fast as you wish to accelerate!

2. Tatonka Challenge – For the foodie in you.

You are bound to get a little hungry as you make your way through all the expos, learning sessions and boot camps. The perfect solution? The Tatonka Challenge! Dive headfirst into a plate of buffalo wings to win this food eating competition. And don’t worry herbivores. Wow, the world with your celery eating skills. Win or lose, walk away with a T-shirt to remember the good times by. Don’t wait any longer. Register the way into your stomach now!

3. Broomball – The cloud wizards’ Quidditch game

Grab your broom, it’s time for some sweeping. Just kidding! Gryffindor or Slytherin, this game is meant for you. Broomball is re:Invent’s version of Quidditch. Feel the sweet burn as you run around the green field while trying to get the big rubber exercise ball through the goal line. The action unfolds on the re:Invent annual company picnic during the welcome reception. Be a member of one of the 8 teams that will compete for the winning title. You don’t want to miss out on the pulsing blood, sweat and happy tears of this one.

4. CycleNation Spinning Challenge – Spin your way to better healthcare

re:Invent is all about AWS partners coming together as a community. It’s the perfect space to feel connected to others and give back to the world. Make this trip even more meaningful by lending a helping hand. And you can do this while having fun. Pay $35 for a 45-minute spinning class led by a professional instructor. Your proceedings will go to the American Heart Association and bring us a little closer as a community to better cardio healthcare.

5. re:PLAY PARTY – Let the stress out, and the music in

End your re:Invent journey with a little groove. After a long week of breakout sessions, certification exams, and keynotes, it’s time to let the stress out, and the music in. re:PLAY PARTY is the sum of all parties, with EDM beats singing in your ears, and the rhythm racing through your pulse. So make sure to pack a pair of dancing shoes as you dance your way to re:Invent.

When: Thursday, November 30th (8 PM – 12 AM)
